"The Stargazers Theatre has been my go-to Colorado Springs venue since 2009. Not only is it an amazing venue with great sound and acoustics, but the Hooton family and the rest of the staff are always a tremendous pleasure to work with. Thanks Stargazers!"
- Trace Bundy
“From the early planning stages of our event, we were met with open arms and welcoming hearts by the Hootons. On the day of our event, we had over 500 attendees and everything from beginning to end was flawless. The entire staff of Stargazers took care of our needs and the needs of our participants with a smile on their faces. Stargazers Theatre was the absolute perfect location for our fundraiser. I highly recommend Cindy and John Hooton and the Stargazers Theatre ‘family” for any of your event needs. ”
- Carolee Langer, Breast Cancer Awareness Ride, Colorado Springs Chapter of Women on Wheels

“We received numerous compliments from the staff who attended, some to include that it was a great place to have a conference; location was perfect; venue has a lot of character; simple, yet delicious food. Both days of our conference were a success thanks to you and your team!”
- Rick Thompkins ,Associate Director of Human Resources, Colorado Department of Corrections
“The venue itself is both highly flexible and perfectly suited to our program, which includes music, exhibitions, food service, technical presentations, short speeches and awards. On top of that you and your staff’s individual support, again both highly flexible and perfectly suited, made our jobs easier than we have previously experienced at other venues. Your professionalism and expertise in everything we needed was exemplary and highly appreciated. Rest assured that we will continue to hold our annual event at Stargazers.”
- Jay B. Miller, President of the Board and CEO of Pikes Peak Arts Council.
“Stargazers Theatre and Event Center is a spotlessly clean, historic facility and a perfect venue for hosting a turn- key event. Owners John and Cindy Hooton and their staff kept regular contact with the event committee, they provided event planning, programming and technical advice and expertise. In addition, they offered ideas and solutions to maximize the event. From the first tour until the committee left the building at the end of the Cotton Club event, Stargazers Theatre and Event Centers John and Cindy Hooton and their staff exemplified customer service. Every contact with every member of our committee was considerate, up-beat and helpful. The Colorado Springs Diversity Forum whole-heartedly recommends Stargazers Theatre and Event Center for your event !”

“Drove down from Denver to attend a Great Big Sea concert. The Stargazers is such a cute little venue with a homey feel. It is family owned and operated and they truly take pride. The acoustics in the theatre were great. The seating was comfortable and it was easy to see all areas of the stage. The best part was the affordable drinks and snacks. A Blue Moon beer was 5 dollars and even came with a fresh orange slice (I just payed $8.50 for a Miller Lite at the Fillmore the other night). The Stargazers Theatre is a great Place, I highly recommend seeing a show there!!! ”
